Ozark Adaptive Sports Association (OZASA) is a nonprofit organization that benefits people with disabilities in the Greater Northwest Arkansas area who wish to stay physically active. Wheelchair Rugby is one of the classes offered by OZASA.
Wheelchair Rugby is a contact team sport that combines elements of rugby, basketball and handball. Players carry the ball across the opposing team's goal line and use chairs to block and hold each other.
Currently 26 countries participate in Paralympic Games with wheelchair rugby. Men and women compete on the same teams and in the same competitions.
